Police arrest Gandi babji and his followers in CM meeting
Internal differences among the ruling Telugu Desam Party leaders are becoming headache to the party National President and Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu. On his tour in Visakhapatnam, Mr. Naidu was unhappy with his party leaders.
Naidu went to Visakhapatnam to lay down the foundation stone for the Petroleum University at Sabbavaram. However, during the function, TDP leader Gandi Babji and his followers were stopped by another leader Bandaru Satyanarayana Murthy from reaching the dais. Followers of both the TDP leaders started arguing which boiled down to fist manacles. As the situation was going out of control, local police arrested Gandi Babji and several of his followers. They have launched a protest against the arrests. The Chief Minister was thoroughly embarrassed by the attitude of his party leaders and has sent a warning to both of them through local ministers.
