Producer: M Koteswara Raju

Director: Praveen Sattaru

Cinematography: Anji

Music by: Bheems Cecireleo

Cast: Dr. Rajasekhar, Pooja Kumar, Shraddha Das, Posani Krishna Murali, Nassar ETC

Rating: 2.75/5

Sekhar (Rajasekhar) is an NIA officer. He keeps his identity private and this creates problems with his wife (Pooja Kumar). At the same time, he gets assigned an important mission.

He has to chase a professional hacker (Adit) who is on the run. Will he catch the hacker? Who is he? How will he convince his wife? forms the rest of the story.

Dr.Rajasekhar is back with Garuda Vega. He pinned all his hopes on the film. This is the perfect comeback film for him and he delivers a very good performance. He has given a balanced performance and doesn’t cross the line anywhere. Pooja Kumar is okay, the scenes between her and Rajasekhar have not come out well. Shraddha Das is ok in her role. Adith Arun is upto the mark and his character was etched well. The rest of the actors including Shayaji Shinde , Charan Deep, Ravi Verma and Adarsh did their bit as required.

Garuda Vega is technically very strong. Songs are good and Sunny Leone’s item song will impress the mass audience. Background music is appropriate. Camerawork by Anji is top notch. The action sequences and chasing scenes are extraordinary. Editing is crisp and dialogues are good. The film has high-octane stunts which were coordinated by Nung, David Kubua and Satish.

A major part of the film was shot in Georgia and Thailand and the film made with a budget of over Rs. 25 crore. The film looks top notch and many scenes look like international standard.

The plus points of the movie are Rajasekhar’s performance, chasing sequences, novel plot and realistic story telling. On the flip side, the entertainment quotient is not good. He took enough care in the first half by making it thrilling and captivating, but the second half goes little dull. The climax also will disappoint the audience. Had he put more concentration on the second half, the output of the film could have been far better.

Praveen Sattaru should be appreciated as as the success of PSV Garudavega will augment more and more different films to be made.

Plus Points:

Rajasekhar’s performance

chase sequences

Interval

Minus Points:

Climax

Run time

Final Verdict: It is an engaging action thriller.
