Shilpa Chakrapani Reddy Resigns From TDP

In a major shock to Telugu Desam Party in Kurnool, its MLC Shilpa Chakrapani Reddy has resigned from the party. On Wednesday, he announced that he would join the YSRCP.

Ever since his brother Shilpa Mohan Reddy joined the YSRCP, the TDP leadership ignored Chakrapani Reddy and sidelined him in the party. Unable to bear the humiliation in the TDP, he decided to quit the party to join the YSRCP.

He is expected to shift his loyalties to the YSRCP in the presence of YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy at a public meeting in Nandyal on August 3.
