After a long gap, Hindupur MLA Nandamuri Bala Krishna descended on his constituency and stayed for three days in the constituency attending official and non- official programs. The celebrity legislator who earned enough dissent and public ire in the last six months or so since he last visited the constituency tried but in vain to convince the people with his cinematic script. Balaiah said that he was physically away from constituency but not from the issues and perusing the same with the ministers concerned.

In fact from the very beginning he never showed great interest or concern on public grievances, any legislator bound to attend. So people are angry with him from day one and even went to the extent of filing ‘missing’ complaint to police against him and organised dharnas and rallies demanding him to attend to the public grievances. But the busy star never bothered much to hear the people’s voice.

“Not only the general public even the TDP leaders and cadre also developed grouse against Balaiah and took it to the notice of the party high command but of no vain” said a TDP leader. “Of course he is not like any other ‘ordinary’ legislator, he is a busy star, but that can’t be an excuse to neglect his obligations to the people” he added.

Meanwhile it was learned that Balaiah is planning to move to his home district Krishna district as Hindupur as he learned it is not a safe seat to contest in the next general elections. Incidentally Hindupur is the constituency once represented by none other than NTR.
