Sasikala is trying too hard!

It is not everyday that you come across strong will ladies like Amma Jayalalitha, for whom even appointing a proxy was a norm of the day. Trying to impersonate or repeat her success is like that famous Telugu saying, Puli ni chusi Nakka vatha pettukunnattu.(Fox trying to emulate Tiger by applying stripes) Well, Sasikala the famous ChinnAMMA with her aggression and desperation to take over the party and Chief Minister office, spoiled her already jaded image in the public and handed over the advantage to O Pannerselvam on a golden platter.

Even after being convicted her refusal to surrender and hi-drama in the following events, with her appointing a proxy and herding MLAs in the big resort. Now even if she comes out clean chit from cases, she will never be able to get people to accept her as their leader as in AMMA’s case.

A few more cautious steps on her front would have made her transition to the power smooth. Letting Panneerselvam be the Chief Minister and using him as her proxy would have easily helped her in escaping the prison time or even head the party from prison! A golden chance missed!
