Visakha Sarada Peetham seer Swami Swaroopananda once again lashed out AP CM Chandrababu Naidu. He attended an event in Nellore and criticized AP Endowment Department with sharp words. He recalled that it is horrendous to bring down 40 temples in Vijayawada in the name of pushkarams.
” In the name of pushkaram, the endowment department spent crores of rupees belonging to temples,” he said.
He also accused the TDP government of silently encroaching lands belonging to temples.
In the name of lease, the temple lands are giving to private persons. ” Public are watching this government’s misdeeds,” he said.
