Ever since Jana Sena leader and Tollywood actor Pawan Kalyan announced that he would contest in the 2019 polls, several MLAs in the TDP camp are learnt to have showing their interest to join Jana Sena Party.
It is learnt that speculation is rife that a TDP MLA from Vijayawada Bonda Uma is interested in walking along with Pawan Kalyan. Even though he has a less experience as MLA, Bonda Uma has been an asset to the ruling TDP. He was always on the forefront in countering the opposition party. But he remained silent for a while now.
He had also came down heavily on former Minster TG Venkatesh when the latter criticised Pawan. Since Bonda UMa is from Kapu community, there is also some pressure playing a part. Uma had earlier joined Praja Rajyam Party and later shifted to the TDP. If he joins Pawan’s Jana Sena party, there are some more names who are keen to shift loyalties, said sources.
