Income Tax raids on Baahubali producers 

Two days after Modi’s ban on Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes circulation,IT sleuths have begun visiting top Tollywood producers’ houses and offices. Producers of Baahubali movie Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni came under the scanner of IT sleuths.

There were reports that the makers of Baahubali-2 have fetched a record price for the sale of its theatrical rights in Tamil Nadu and Nizam. The distribution rights have been acquired by several leading distribution houses for whopping prices.

Hence the IT department officials swooped into the houses and residences of the producers. They are conducting raids simultaneously on the houses and offices of Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni.
