Naidu asks party leaders to maintain silence on Mudragada padayatra

Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has asked his party leaders to maintain strategic silence on the padayatra taken up by Kapu leader Mudragada Padmanabham. Apparently realizing the sensitivity of the renewed Kapu agitation, he issued strong instructions to party leaders not to attack Mudragada and make provocative statements. He also said that Kapu leader is trying to provoke the ruling party leaders, so that the agitation turns violent.

Naidu advise to his party men : “Let him do it and we shall go in our own way to counter it.” Naidu further asked party men to extensively propagate the steps taken by the government so far on the Kapu reservation issue and the welfare schemes being implemented for them. At the same time, we need to tell the Kapus that the government is serious in including them in BCs. he said.
